    Windy Conditions

In Melbourne tonight, the wind is howling, and on the Footy Show Eddie was saying that the forecast is for 40km winds for Sydney tomorrow night.

Am I right to think if the wind is coming from the north it will be howling across the ground as opposed to favoring either end.

I'm getting excited, 13 hours till we take off.

No, you are wrong. Goals are located north and south.

The ground runs north-south. But with the stands the way they are, the flags on the members may be blowing one way, but at ground level the effect of the breeze is sometimes rather different. I would expect to see most of the play on the Brewongle (closer to camera if watching on TV) wing if it is breezy - more protection from the breeze on that side of the ground.

Who cares what Maguire said. It is probably some of his usual tripe.
I am also excited and can't wait untill the game starts but need no information from boofhead Eddie to feel this way. Go the bloods.

Mmmm. How do "winds from the north" get here from the south?

If you're going to call someone else an idiot it's usually a good idea to spell their name correctly.

I HATE to agree with Eddieee but the freshening wind from the N-NE are forecast to be 15-20 knots. That's 30-40 km/h. It'll be interesting to see if they drop after sunset - but with a front heading our way, they may not.

The toss might be critical tonight.

We're gone ! This barometer reading doesn't suit our style of footy.
