As to nerves... I'm not nervous, per se, but I notice I am missing my "good" feeling that I had last week that had me convinced we'd win (and ususally when I have that feeling the result is a foregone conclusion). Given we were robbed, I dunno if the feeling was actually spot on bad the umps or what, so I duno what to make of its absence today...

I'm feeling pretty good. I think last week showed us just what this side is capable of... And were it not for a couple of trifling decision-making issues on the night, coupled with some lousy finishing, we'd be putting our feet up this weekend for a spot of neutral footy watching. If we're soft enough to let last week's debacle get to our heads, we don't deserve to win the thing anyway.

I've blocked all the media out of my life (no newspaper reading or TV watching) until the start of the game. I'm just too nervous to think about all the pros and cons and who will win, etc. No omens for me, I'll tune back in after the game regardless of the outcome.

I refuse to get nervous or excited. I was beside myself last year before the semi against the Aints, and the same last week. So today I'm trying to stay calm, and focus on something else.

But is there anything else?

How many will Hall kick? Who will line up on Kirky? Will Micky take his chances? Will Ryano have a blinder?

I could hardly eat at lunch and I think I need a drink to calm down.
