watching the replay, balls jumper was being pulled when he tapped it to davis.

didnt matter and probably would have been worse if ball got the set shot, but just saying...
    Onwards to Victory!

yep, just watched the replay five times. davis was the right man on the spot and roved it beautifully, but it was ball's ruckwork that created that goal. perfectly timed tap weighted to perfection.
then again, i think it would be worth trying 15-16 players on field so what would i know

I was lucky enough to be at the game - to witness to this absolutely fantastic sporting moment. I too had given the Swans away in the third. I couldn't see the bloods kicking the required goals to win - I had even SMS'd to my dad in China saying that if the Swan's won - I would do a nudie run around the SCG.

Enough things have been said about the finish. My presepctive was from the second level of the Brewongle - around in the pocket. The last ball up was just momentus - the whole ground was at fever pitch, in the truest sense. Everyone was yelling and clapping and banging their seats, the advertising boards, their coke bottles - it was just a pure noise in anticipation for what was just to come. The stands were rumbling. The ruckmen came together, the crowd hushed, the tap came down, Davis - unfathomly in space- goal - delerium ensues - stadium constuction is once again tested by the rumble of a Swans victory.

          Amazing.

Roos did speak well of Nic's last goal - said it was really special - not in those words but in the gist of them.
I think we get a bit nit picky here.
Roos and the team are one - not one against another - so don't let's start that.
            Love those Swans

i think the aftermatch he wasnt even thinking clear though but oh well was complimentry in the press conference.

I enjoy the end of this game, but i tried watching it again, had to just come back at the end, was one of the most boring games ive seen in a while im afraid (the first three quarters). I dont know if its the conditions, but if we play like we did for the first three quarters, against stkilda, they will kill us!

Interesting reading this thread all the way through.

The result, my friends, however was never in doubt.

I assume that is tongue in cheek, otherwise it's a load of rubbish!
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.
