Bazza surely cant have three bad games in a row. I expect a blinder from him against the Saints.

I actually thought he played ok tonight. Not in the way we expect, but it was still a Captains knock.
Sure he got beaten on a couple of occasions by Scarlett when he should have taken the mark, but Scarlett is clearly the best fullback in the comp when on song.
If people watch the last two min of the game again, you'll see that Bazza did some critical things to ensure the ball stayed in our F50, and gave us a few opportunities to win it.
He may well miss out on the captaincy next year, but a show of support for him during the finals would not go astray. Oh and he is still the 2005 AA FF, and still a smokey in this years Brownlow. Plus he will be in the top 3 in our B&F.Our Greatest Moment:

Interesting to hear that Wayne Carey reckons that where Hall struggles is that he is one-dimensional in terms of being a leading marking forward but when that isn't working he has to find another way to get his hands on the ball by turning himself into a HFF/rover and turning back when a lead is ignored to get front and square to a contest etc.
I'm on the Chandwagon!!!
If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

OOOOOH MAAAAN. I was hoping this wouldn't come up on here tonight. I'm not a Vogels fan on here like many others are, rightly or wrongly. But FFS!!!!!! Bevan in for him!!!????!!! is that all we have in our depths? If so, we are in bad shape. Bevan?????!!!!! Another ********ing carnie. Oh please!
1. Some RWO postsers record of rubbishing young developing footballers is almost faultless in getting it completely wrong. Bevan is courageous inexperienced player who will develop into a very good senior player. Young players make mistakes under pressure - its part of learning the game
2. Will be referred to in the future as the Bevowagon starts to rollBevo bandwagon driverComment

I'm the last person to agree with Carey but when I heard him say that, well ... it has a ring of truth!Originally posted by Mike_B
