Poor conditioning and errors are bad football so they deserved to lose.

The Swans more than filled their own quota of errors too so a bit harsh on our boys to say they benefitted unduly from the opposition's.

We played well enough (especially in the second half) to be close enough to win. Yes, the Geelong injuries may have cost them the game - and we know all about that.
We're saving the GOOJ card for next Friday night.

Certainly on errors we did plenty, but we were also lucky they didn't take enough advantage of them. Injuries (and Davis) were the difference.

as a swans supporter im laying low as something bad is bound to happen after all the luck we got friday night.

If just gary ablett jnr hadnt been bogged down with a slight injury we would of lost. He is a very impressive player though.

Roos is right - the Swans lifted after 1/2 time but didn't put it on the board. So the Swans moved to playing attacking footy and won. The Cats went defensive too early (a la Swans in Eagles game?) and lost.

Have you ever before seen a game before when EVERY player is in our attacking 50? I haven't. I sit on the 50m and they could have brought the lawn mowers out to tend the ground to my left. The Cats flooded all night but gave up all pretence of being in anything other than lock-down in the 4th Q.

Sort of like we did at the end of the 2003 QF...

                          I'll

                          And speaking of Monopoly...
Did anyone see that bit on FFC (WLF, perhaps?) about someone actually making team-based Monopoly boards? I believe it was just before the Heritage round showdown between Adelaide and Port. I remember them saying Richmond was to be next...

This got me thinking (well, procrastinating, really): how would they change things?

                          Would the streets be renamed?

Would Driver Avenue be the Sydney equivalent to Park Lane?

Would they still include Kings Cross Station, considering that's the one closest to the ARC?

Would you be able to place hotels on Maroubra Beach?

Would you play with footy-related pieces (football, water bottle, boots etc) instead of the traditional ones (top hat, car etc)?

Would all money be red and white?

Would they substitute the GOOJF card with the "You escaped suspension from the AFL tribunal. Do not pass Time On and forfeit all match payments" card?

                          Can I buy the SCG?

Ahhhh, anything to avoid writing this essay.

They had some of them on Before the game a while ago.

They could work out how Ryan Fitzgerald was worth $50 more than Wayne Carey on the Crows Board.

In Richmond monopoly, every square would be "Go to Jail".
