    I am totally spent!!!

My emotions were on such an edge that I actually cried - Hate to admit it. I also nearly passed out when Davis kicked his goal - I'd hate to be sitting in one of the top tiers of the Southern Stand next week. My heart couldn't take it! Not that I usually pray but I did tonight - Seems someone was listening to me

    Just brilliant!

Even my wife was cheering for the Swans, and she is an eGurls supporter.

I'm trying to find my voice. I left it at the SCG.
Using hypothesis testing via confidence intervals:
Nick Davis mark inside 50 = goal

I just got back from the game in time to catch Sports Tonight - boy am I spent!!! Davis' goal was even more amazing on TV as it was live - crowd went off, still can't believe they won!

As someone called out when I was walking out of the ground, "they played like ******** and still won!"

To everyone who was posting on here about how bad it was in the first three quarters - it was even worse watching it in person! It was as if they were trying to lose - they could not do ANYTHING right. Shattering for Geelong, but really they only have themselves to blame - didn't put us away as we deserved for the way we were playing. Credit where credit's due though, the Swans didn't give up as they could have after the Cats got the first goal of the last qtr.

Still, it was great to see a close game NOT decided by umpires!! While no glaringly bad decisions, the 50/50s STILL annoyingly seemed to go Geelong's way though. I had really better get off the computer now, I have to work in the morning...

I cried, and then played cheer cheer on the bagpipes, and cried some more. Georgie sat there in disgust at me

But now I sit here in disgustg at her for watching dirty dancing

I'm a weird combination of completely buggered and pumped up. I almost passed out from screaming after THAT kick. No voice, but I don't really need it.

My heart couldn't take that one either!!!

For most of the game I was sitting down at the local bar with some friends just looking up and seeing aimless kicks and untagged Cats players run freely for the entire game. I never thought we were out of it. I was subconciously thinking we're gonna have to double our score in the last quarter and when the Geelong goal went through in the beginning of the last quarter I thought 'its probably gone now'.

But when Sydney answered quickly I kept an eye on the game and when Sydney was 13 points down, a friend (who knows nothing about the game) said "If Sydney win, you buy me a beer" and I said "You're on!".

That last 5 minutes with Tens pathetic 5 minute warning 'feature' had my heart racing like nothing else. I nearly fell over when Davis got his last goal and I kept saying to all my friends there's gotta only be seconds left.

It was pretty amazing, all my friends around who dont follow AFL were fixed to the TV and the silence from them was justice to the heart stopping finish. When I saw the players with arms raised I did likewise and I didn't give ********** that everyone looked at me like I was weird - we'd won!!!

Great result, still a poor game.
That's the problem with modern day medicine - there's no more natural selection of the species.
No wonder there's so many Collingwood fans.

That's why they have the 5 minute warning!!

Ive just got home from the one of the most extraordinary finishs to a game of footy I have ever witnessed.

I must apologise to the bloke next to me who I hugged within an inch of his life at the very end. Bloody unbelievable
