Why was Paul Bevan in the side at the expense of Luke Vogels. If Roos wanted a hard man, why didn't Moore get a run?

In the first half, when every single Swan except maybe Crouch was awful, I thought Goodes was the next least bad. He wasn't getting much effective ball but at least he was running in straight lines, attacking the ball, and playing with a modicum of purpose.

Paul Roos was over heard by jughead the scg curator talking about a flood.

Juggy thought he was doing the right thing by turning on the sprinklers on at 4.30 this arvo.

I keep missing the LRT bandwagon and i am far from upset.

Midfield was woeful. I think Jude Bolton needs to relax a bit and not try so dam hard. That?s been his down fall in the past.

Geelong tackled hard and applied a lot of pressure. credit to them.

All of that.

Our ruck seemed to be on top of theirs but our midfielders just couldnt get the ball. We were killed across centre, meaning our forwards were mostly starved of the ball.

Ten consecutive behinds.

No goals for almost two quarters of football.

Disposals fell into one of two categories:
1. Blind/errant handball to team mate under pressure or worse, to an opponent
2. Blind/errant kick to an opponent

We really did not kick into gear at all except in a few notable patches in the third and fourth quarters.

Willo struggling through the match even though he wasn't 100% and it showed; same with Ablett.

Speaking of Willo he's been listed again under injuries for his thigh, so will be racing against the clock to be fit again by Friday.

it was like the sherrin was a big bar of soap, maybe geelongs pressure was too good for us or we couldnt handle the finals pressure cooker situation. either way, move on and lets improve for next week

Hall had another shocker. Needs to play in the day time, needs to have his eyes tested (seriously).
None of them (except ND who loves it) handle pressure very well.
They like to handball to the feet of staionary players.
Jolly never taps the ball to a Swan.
Too many players get in close around the ruck contests so if Jolly does tap to a Swan he is standing still and gets tackled.
