He needs to have a word in Schmitty's ear re the jumper.
And you can't find nothing at all,
If there was nothing there all along.

Watering the ground before the game!

Which idiot thought of that! And not even telling the Swans about it? I know Geelong requested it, but nobody expected such stupidity. I hope that the person who did it got a sack! And I'm very serious about it!

Could only have been ordered by the AFL ground operations manager Jill Lindsay or her designated stand in for the night if she was not in attendance.

There is no doubt the watering affected the standard of the game and there is no doubt Geelong would have been more than happy for the water to be put on the surface as they came prepared to slog it out and actually play well in the wet with their one paced midfield.

Bloke got on SEN this morning and said he was at the ground at 4.00pm Friday and reckons the sprinklers were on for a heck of a long time more than the 3.5 minutes that Jill Lindsay said.

She said she did not speak to Sydney but did talk to Geelong. I just wonder if the Cats brought the curator a couple of beers to "distract" him from the watering duties for more than a little bit longer than required.

Yes I believe in conspiracy theories. Particularly those involving human beings.
