We were hugging complete strangers sitting in front and around us - The Unholy Trinity were crying and we thought that "Verne" (Tams baby due soon) was going to make an early appearance.
And whilst the crowd were subdued for the first 3 quarters - we got going when they needed us most.
    Keep the love alive!
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

I think I told the woman next to me - a stranger - that I loved her. I just forgot to mention I loved the whole world right then.

Then over at Fox, Bron, MJ, Anna and I were hugging everyone, getting "Cheer cheer" going and high fived about 1000 people. Great night. Got home before 3am and watched replays of the last few minutes until 4am.

I was by myself as my girls have gone to Queensland with their father and I'd just got back from Buller. I hugged the cats so tight they ran out of the room in case I threw them.

We were in the Oreilly stand next to a huge block of mad Cats. one of these Geelong supporters had a few too many jars of cat nip and was calling out 'Only two goals , Oh My, only two goals !' for three quarters. Every time the Swans kicked a point or the cats rushed a behind he would moan 'oh what a pity, oh it's only a point . Oh you missed a goal again'
Finally one of the Swans crowd told him. 'You might regret those points later on tonight"
and he did! 'Boy was he destroyed.

In all fairness i was as suprised as they were. i had put the season to bed around 9.30pm only to be dragged back into the fretting and the anxiety for another week.

I hugged my wife, picking her up of the ground and jumping up and down when Davis scored the winning goal. All the blokes got big handshakes.

Then when I saw Bon and Jeffers we had a big 3 way hug

In my state of complete delirium I hugged the nice old lady next to me, and then nearly knocked her head off when I turned around to my mate next to me lol

I did bump into JF at 3 Quarter time, we just looked at each other and didn't say a word and I gave him a reassuring pat on the back.

I think most in the CS received a hug (or thirty) from me! I'm glad I used waterproof mascara tho, or a few would have had nasty black cry-stains as well as crushed ribs/vertebrae etc!

The variety of responses were amazing - Eirinn was crying, I was jumping up and down screaming like an absolute loony, my mate was stunned into silence... I was able to hug Eirinn multiple times - a rare and significant event.

For hours afterwards my hands hurt from the clapping, my throat burnt from all the screaming and my body was drained of all energy. I put everything into that match and it will be something I remember forever.

I hugged everyone in our group and the two people in front of me (who I didn't know) so that makes 9, plus my friend who walked passed on her way out so 10 in total.
I was a shetland pony on Saturday from shouting. After the goal I just kept screaming "siren. siren...", didn't actually hear the siren but realised it had gone off with the roar of the crowd. I also had a bruise on the palm of my left hand from all the clapping.
Got home buzzing and couldn't sleep for a while.
Can't wait for next Friday night.

I grabbed Ms dimelb and swept her off the ground. She was the only one available. We then cracked the baby champagne she got at the Ladies' Lunch!

What about how many tears we cried? I'd never cried at the footy before, ever. It was all too much for me. I was getting quite dizzy then all of a sudden, Davis got that goal and everyones hands went up and it was crazy. I was jumping full on.
Vicky Pollard: Oh my god I so can't believe you just said that this is like the time I threw Anita's nokia in the canal as a joke and she's like you have well got to buy me another one and I'm like get over it and then Paul came over who's adopted anyway and started saying that I fancy Mark Bennett but oh my god just because I have sex with someone doesn't mean I fancy them.

Having been there live and re watched the last 5 minutes of the match a thousand times, it all seems surreal.

Everytime I look at 'that' kick of Davis that went through I know someone above was looking after us! The ball fumbled out of his hands, and somehow he just flung his left (non-preferred) boot and it went sailing through the middle. It is just an amazingly spine tingling moment that will stay with us forever!

I just hope the team looks at this as an amazing opportunity to create their own history. Saints have some injury concerns despite a week off. There are no excuses for us, we just simply have to do it!
