Roos meets coaches from other codes

Article about this in the SMH.

Nice to see that he's working with other successful coaches on developing ideas for improving the way he does things.

    I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

Funnily enough, in the time you posted that, I was in the other room reading it.

    Hopefully it's effective.

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

Could be very good, provided he doesn't try to combine too much for the players to take in and be able to apply, although i have great faith Roosey won't do that

And hurrah for the new boards!

          Excellent Idea.

You never know what you can get from the other codes.

We have been getting tackling training from League for years.
If anything else can help us, why not.

We are the best tacklers because of cross coaching. I'm sure we can get alot more out of this idea. I love the fact Roos thinks outside the square and isn't scared to try new things. A good sign

Good to see some thinking outside the square.

I can't help being impressed with Roos. I believe he'll lead us to a premiership.

Wonder if Roos caught up with the Chicago Swans when he met up with the Chicago Bulls coach.

Ummmm probably not, seeing as Phil Jackson is now coach of the LA Lakers (and has been for several years now)

Let's hope that Ricky Stuart in particular whispered a few choice secrets in Roosy's ear!!!!!

Jackson must have been Bulls coach when they won about 6 titles in 8 years.

I don't know Phil Jackson and don't care!
I haven't read today's papers but I saw the other day that Paul Roos met up with " the Coach of the Chicago Bulls", so again what does this have to do with Phil if he's in LA coaching the Lakers please explain!

Just a little error in the article itself it seems Troy....they wrote that Phil Jackson is the Bulls coach, whereas in fact he used to be their coach when they won those titles (as Charlie pointed out), however, now (and for the last few years) he has been coaching the LA Lakers....

                              Hope this clears things up
