Public can purchase tickets on Wednesday.

Melbourne Sydney Swans office told me we could get 4 tickets as a member - Have the rules changed? If so how do I get my non member friends to the game - I guess wait till Wednesday and get crappy seats!

I'd be surprised if you could only get one ticket per membership for this game considering the capacity of the ground is much greater than the SCG. How many does the MCG hold now?

Should be a sellout hopefully.

I heard it will hold around 90,000 for the Grand Final. Perhaps a little less for the Prelim.

AFL FINALS WEEK 3 - SHOULD SYDNEY SWANS DEFEAT GEELONG

Should the Sydney Swans defeat the Geelong Cats this Friday night at the SCG, the Swannies will face St Kilda in a Preliminary Final at the MCG on Friday 16 September at a time to be determined. The following outlines the Member Ticketing Arrangements should we proceed to the Preliminary Final:

TIME: Check afl.com.au or media on Sunday 11 September

COMPETING CLUB MEMBERS
Tickets will be available to Members of both the Sydney Swans and St Kilda from Monday 12 September, 9.00am EST until close of business on Tuesday 13 September. Tickets are available via the Ticketmaster Call Centre on 1300 136 122, Ticketmaster outlets, or at www.ticketmaster.com.au <http://www.ticketmaster.com.au> (membership barcode is required). Membership cards and Concession ID will be required at point of purchase and collection. Tickets will be sold on a one ticket per membership/season ticket basis. There will be a maximum of eight (8) tickets per transaction.

GENERAL PUBLIC
Tickets will be available to the general public from 9.00am EST on
Wednesday 14 September via Ticketmaster (see details above).

CHEER SQUAD MEMBERS
Melbourne based Cheer Squad Members should contact the Sydney Swans
Melbourne Office on 03 9682 4333 on Monday 12 September to purchase a
ticket.

JUNIORS AND CONCESSIONS
Children aged 3-14 are eligible to purchase a Junior ticket. Children
aged 2 and under are entitled to enter the ground at no charge, however
they must not occupy a seat. Persons aged 15 and over are classified as
an adult, unless they hold valid concession identification. For
concession eligibility check www.afl.com.au Concession identification
required: Aged Pension/Invalid Pension or Dept Veteran Affairs
concession card. All other concession categories require two forms of
ID. ID may include driver's licence, credit card, birth certificate or
extract of birth certificate. Concession ID will be required at point of
purchase and collection.

SHOULD THE SYDNEY SWANS WIN THE SEMI FINAL AND QUALIFY FOR A PRELIMINARY
FINAL
In the event that the Sydney Swans win their way into an AFL Preliminary
Final this Friday night, information in regards to potential Grand Final
Ticketing arrangements will be circulated to all Members via post, email
and website on Monday 12 September.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
In the event that the Swans win their way to the AFL Grand Final you
will need your membership card in order to purchase a ticket (ticket
purchase is NOT guaranteed depending on your membership category).
Therefore if you have lost your membership card then please contact the
Melbourne Office by NEXT TUESDAY 13. A $10 replacement fee will apply.

Sydney based Cheer Squad Members and Redback Members should contact the Sydney Swans Membership Department on 02 9339 9130 on Monday 12 September between 9.30am and 5.00pm to purchase a ticket to the Preliminary Final. Melbourne based Cheer Squad Members should contact the Sydney Swans Melbourne Office on 03 9682 4333 on Monday 12 September to purchase a ticket.

If you are in the CS, I would assume that you just ring the office and pay, can't see why it would be any different.

Is it imperative as a member aI go down to ticketmaster and pick up the tickets at 9am or do you think I can get good seats if I go later on Monday?

Also does anyone know the kind of seating differences there are to standard prime and premium?
