Kosi was on Before the Game last night saying he was a definite to play. He has been running flat out with no pain for the last two days and says that was all they were waiting for.

Doc Larkins just said Maguire and Kosi not travelling that well and may not play.

Maguire is 50/50 to play, but there is no way Kosi will play especially if they have to rush back Hudgton a week early than would be expected.

          So that means definate outs:

          Sam Fisher
          X Clarke
          B Goddard
          Kosi

          Maybe out:

          Macquire

Probably will play but under duress or underdone:

          Gherig
          Hamill
          Hudgthon

Grant Thomas id going to be walking a tight rope this week, how many players can he take into the game carry an injury or who are underdone?

Larkins categorically ruled out Kosi, Clarke, and Fisher. He thinks that Goddard might be rushed back in and it has been suggested that Hamill is struggling with a calf. Their backline is their weakness. Time for ALL the forwards to stand up and put them under pressure. The biggest problem area though will be controlling their midfield and giving enough supply to the forwards.

Exactly - their weak backline means squat if we can't get it to our forwards effectively.

So... a probable team looks something like this (not in position):
                Riewoldt
                Ball
                Dal Santo
                Harvey
                Hayes
                Milne
                Voss
                Peckett
                Gwilt
                Ackland
                R. Clarke
                Guerra
                Jones
                Powell
                Thompson
                Montagna
                Baker
                Blake
                Gehrig (not at full fitness)
                Hudghton (ditto)
                Goddard (ditto)
                Maguire (ditto)

It's still strong, but if we can't beat that line-up, we're not good enough to win the flag in any case.

Any takers for a Nancy Kerrigan-Tonya Harding-type incident again?

Big risk playing injured forwards against us- Geelong showed on friday how important it is to put presure on our run from defence - injured players will struggle to do that. Kennelly, Bolton or B2 can do a mountain of damage if left to run free from an injured player.

Interesting risk to take - but they have had two weeks to get over injuries so you would guess they should be primed.
You don't ban those who supported your opponent, you make them wallow in their loserdom by covering your victory! You sit them in the front row. You give them a hat! Toby Ziegler
