    Wildcard vs Saints

Who will it be to step up and take us past the Saints?

Will it be another Nick Davis special?

    Will Barry come good? Goodes?

Will the much maligned Schnieder return to his 2003 best?

    What you guys think?

Here's my "PF Wilcard". What's yours?

    Player: Michael O'Loughlin.
Position: HF, although Roos may isolate him in the square
    Matchup Possibilities: Voss, Maguire
    Round 10: 2 goals, 11 poss, 4 marks
Assessment: The extra space on the MCG will provide Mickey will ample opportunities to show us some of his magic. The Sanits may find it difficult to match up on him and will be a dangerous proposition if we can deliver it quickly and hopefully, close to goal.
    Prediction: 5 goals, 10-15 poss, 7 marks

    hope your right!

a big key is who lines up for the saints - if maguire doesnt play then hudghton will probably get hall instead of micky O. this will then free ROK and nicky D

if voss plays on micky O i would be confident that magic would do alright one on one in an isolated situation. I think ROK will be the one who makes a major contribution this week. The MCG suits his leading across HF/wing and consequently his kicking inside 50.
he may not kick a bag but i reckon he'll play a major part in getting it to Baz and Magic.

of course the midfield have to do their part as well. also depending on the situation of the game, we may try to exploit the saints backline further by dropping ball or jolly in the square. but the likely scenario will be them dropping back into defence to fill holes and help leo etc.....
    Roosy = LEGEND

Dry night and it's Goodsey for mine on the wide spaces of the G.

I can't think of anyone on the Saints list that can run with him all night.

Sounds reminiscent of the belief last year and Goodes got caned by Jason Blake.

Nicky D will be amazing again, but that won't suprise anyone. The suprise packet will be Nic Fosdike.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Now Ugg we all know Goodsey had a gammie knee. Another to the list of injuries we had last year. Yep Thommo will surely remember that and toss Blake onto him again.

Can't wait to see Goosey give him a father of a hiding.

Schauble will play FF and kick 9. But the real surprise will be his axing for the GF due to a lack of a suitable match up.

I would imagine Vogels will come straight back into the team in place of Bevan. Need the extra height up forward on the bigger MCG and try and stretch their already thin defense. May not do much himself, but will require a tall defender regardless.

Hang on there COW. Fozzie has a habit of playing well at the G. Did he not cost Kirk the Brownlow with a 3 voter there last year.

If too many get on him it will ruin the surprise
