    Any news from Wagga Wagga?

We would have played reserves yesterday.

What I can tell you was that Ryan O'Keefe was in the terminal waiting for the flight to Wagga whilst I waited for my one to Albury and Melbourne.

Seymour up forward again? Havent we got enough
            - Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in a world they've been given, than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact, it's an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration, it's a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing!

Na, was a bit shy. But he sure well noticed me.

I tend to like to leave the players alone in public.

Report of the match is up in the main AFL Sydney Swans site

Swans ? Brad Seymour 3; Scott Stevens, Nick Malceski, Ryan Crawford, Daniel McPherson 2; Buchanan, Bevan 1.
                  Wagga ? McMahon, Pavitt, M Rava 2; Cook, Pieper, D Rava 1.

                  Best:
Swans ? Luke Ablett, Daniel McPherson, Scott Stevens, Josh Thewlis, Jarrad McVeigh, Reid.
Wagga ? Power, S Priest, Irvin, A Priest, M Rava, Jaques

If Ablett continues this form for another week or two or three, would love to see him given another chance soon.

The McMahon who kicked the goals for Wagga is I believe the infamous Gavinn McMahon of rnd 20 1993 fame.

Good to see Ablett BOG - really hope he works hard and gets into the team

I was thinking the same, and found these comments in "Ask Roosy" extremely interesting ..

                          27/04/03 :

"A few of the younger recruits like Nick Malceski, Josh Thewlis, Jarrad McVeigh and Sean Dempster have all had a good run and we are very happy with their progress, but at this stage I doubt if they will play senior football this year."

                          1/05/03:
"We will probably see some of the other guys over the rest of the season such as Mark Powell, Lewis Roberts-Thomson, Nick Malceski, Jarrad Sundqvist, Jarrad McVeigh and Josh Thewlis."
