It has to be a sell out. If the members want it that bad, then the public will scoop them up.
In a similar matter I saw a couple of preliminary finals tickets on ebay up to $760 dollars. Thats right $760. The seller's obviously bought the series ticket set. If you look at the bid history he's created an alias to amp up the price.
Have a look: http://tinyurl.com/a9tuo
Do not touch these. As well as making a 1000% profit, the tickets will be cancelled as the AFL can check the exact seat number in the photo.Onwards to Victory!Comment

Only 14,000 odd tickets left after day 1
Papers mentioned today that there are only 14,000 odd tickets left for the game on Friday night.
Based on the allocation of AFL & MCC members that meant they sold around 26,000 tickets yesterday !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Considering that we had a football free weekend in Melbourne last week and their is only one PF in town this week can expect to see a very good turn out of members.
Reckon the crowd will be between 72,000 & 78,000.

I think its likely that both PF's will sell out. The AFL will be thrilled to bits with finals crowds this year, given the fact that the big four crowd drawing Melb based teams all missed the finals. Indeed a strong national competition.Occupational hazards:
