"In that particular game we were dominated out of the midfield and the ball they were getting inside 50 metres was pretty effective."

    So important!

This has got to be Barry's last chance on Gehrig.

One of Leo's comments that is not in the SMH, but is in the age -

"He's a deceptively quick, he's probably one of the quickest blokes you play on, but ground level is an area where my strength is at getting first hands on the ball." So if they can stop Gehrig marking it, look out for Rampant Leo!!

Which I think is something oft forgotten by those who look at his size and call for Schauble.

Takes a lot of concentration and stamina to sit with a guy who outsizes you the way Fraser does Leo.

If the midfield support isn't there, Leo will get towelled again, must respond fast and use LRT if necessary. Never thought I'd say that, but at least we have that option up our sleeve. Leo then on Reiwoldt, hopefully chasing him up the wings.

What's everyones thoughts about Baker on Davis?
Vicky Pollard: Oh my god I so can't believe you just said that this is like the time I threw Anita's nokia in the canal as a joke and she's like you have well got to buy me another one and I'm like get over it and then Paul came over who's adopted anyway and started saying that I fancy Mark Bennett but oh my god just because I have sex with someone doesn't mean I fancy them.

My preference is LRT loose man in the area right in front of the goal square, about 30m out. Means Gehrig and Reiwoldt have to lead wide. This give Leo a bit more chance to spoil, and makes Reiwoldt kick (with that suspect action of his) from more acute angles.

I also wouldn't mind seeing C Bolts as an alternative to Leo on Gehrig. He has done some superb jobs on other gorillas in the past - J Brown, S Lucas for example.

Love to see it. He is their only true tagger, and this leaves Kirk, Bolton and Williams (if fit) far more open.

Dont think it will happen personally.

Not a bad thought actually, with the proviso that Craig starts on Reiwoldt initially, that ties up their 2 most dangerous forwards!

If Leo does lose touch, then the swap occurs, but is much less likely if LRT plugs the gap. Needs a tonne of courage to stand his ground with the G-Train, 49 tonnes of deisel locamotive coming at him!

Thats the one aspect of his game we can all agree on!

i just hope that leo starts the game on top and continues it throughout the match. we dont want the G train to get his confidence up, i'm sure that the past few outings have tought leo a thing or too about the way frase goes about things

All I hope is that the ugly ****** doesn't piss all over Leo like he did last time... what was it, 7 goals...?
I think we've had a great season so far, done better than last year...it's been an improvement year for so many players...and if we get another good ruckman next year and a strong and effective full back, we can go even further in the future. On form, and given our harsh travelling schedule etc and nature of the games over the past few weeks, the drunkards would have to be favourites on Friday...
I am just amused that they are called saints, when amongst the team are perhaps some of the least saintly people you'd ever wish to wake up next to or stand next to in a bar...
"Davis...Davis has kicked 2...he snaps from 40...dont tell me, dont tell me, hes kicked a goal....unbelievable stuff from Nick Davis, can you believe this, he's kicked 3 final quarter goals and Swans are within 3 points..."

Our midfield has had two in and tight finals in a row. Tis would be folly to put their only tagger on our svengali....yes read it here folks...I call this prior use ;-)
