    Selection Suprises

Well what would wake up the Melbourne press

New of the following developments in swans selections....

"Swans have made 5 changes for the prelim final run on side"

The swans have named a list of 34 players, including 5 changes in the run on side. 12 players have been included in the extended bench with 8 to be emergencies after the last training on tomorrow.

    List of changes to include

Doyle - recovered from leg injuy in the forward pocket
Saddington - Injury cloud raised and is to play in defence
Schauble - named a full forward
Moore - to replace the injured ... and last
Fixter - named to tag Milne

those condered unlucky are ..... (Not going there with this tread)

Roos said that he has been holding these players back all year and that has been the real game plan. This play was to give experience to a host of players now it is time to win and win well.

These players have been sent by the swans interstate to watch and learn what the top sides do each and every week. Whilst they have played in the reserves we have developed team plays that haven't been seen yet. This learning has exposed a host of weeknesses and we plan to exploit them.

These players are well rested and will mitigate the week off that the Saints have enjoyed.

We consider this to be the overdrive that the team needs at the end of a hard year.

Swans by 32 is the prediction.

I'm suprised teams dont do this more. Name 2 or 3 injured players in your squad, then say they "didnt come up" and replace them with emergencies on game day.

I hope at least Schuable is added to our squad, in case saints are playing games with hammil and kosi.

How do we know they don't already do this? Geelong played two emergencies last week.
