The thing that bugged me during the one game I saw in person this year was that the Swans were treating the ball like a piece of soap and trying the kick-off-the-ground, bombing-away-randomly tactics that I have come to know and love but the Eagles didn't seem to notice the rain and regularly kicked accurately to team mates who held marks.
Yep, fair call - I think it was Malthouse was saying earlier in the week that the team with the best skills still plays the best in the wet. Rain is not an excuse for the "hail mary" approach.
