    Interesting article on Foxsports...


    This is a particularly intersting comment about the round 22 game against Hawthorn.

    "Sydney fans outnumbered their Hawthorn counterparts during their last home and away match at the MCG last month."

    Was that true? Would be amazing!

    Yes its true that there was more Swans supporters there that day than Hawks and it does happen once or twice a season against a poor performing Victorian side such as Hawthorn this year, Richmond last year and Melbourne the year before that. To be honest I can't remember the last time since 96 that Demons fans outnumbers Swans fans at a match down here.

      On the radio here this morning Schwass said the red and white support at 96 GF amazed him...

        Last friday night, often times when the Syd - en - ey chant went up, the players surged. When the chant ended, so did the momentum. We should have enough supporters to get that chant going and keep it going to help the team get over the line.
