    More relaxed?

At the end of the Freo game, the Saints bench looked like the Battle of the Somme and it seemed their season was over. Then they beat the Crows and they were in red hot form again. But now, finally, we know who are in the Saints team and they definitely seem to be fragile and vulnerable.

Does the posted St Kilda team make the chance of a Swans victory seem closer or further away to you?

Never truer words were said. Although I don't think it's a guaranteed win if Sydney are on song. But if in the first quarter all we're achieving is shutting them down, and we're not creating our own run and making chances for our own forward line, then regardless of the scoreline at 1/4 time it will be goodnight Sydney 2005.

Or to put it another way: if we produce another Geelong first half performance, we will be punished a lot more severely than Geelong could manage, and the game will be well out of our reach by half time.

I remember the final in 1998 at the SCG, coincidentally against the Saints. We had got there with no form. The Saints had beat us by 100 points during the season.

I remember sitting in the front of the telly before the game, depressed, wishing it could all just be over as I gave us no chance.

Then they showed the boys running out and I sat up, the look on the faces showed that they were there to play, rocket had fired them up.

I wish Roosy could fire them up the same way!

Looking out for good omens which can bring the Swans the 2007 premiership

I wouldn't count on that too much. How many times have we come from behind to win this year. Stats anyone ?

Would be great to see Sydney come out of the blocks firing. That would give the boys confidence as well. I was at the St Kilda v Adelaide match and was blown away at how quickly both teams started. It will be tough for us but certainly not impossible !
