I am on record (not necessarily on RWO) that Kirk will win the Brownlow since he was $33 ... Probably somewhere around week 16/17. If not win, he will go close ... and a share is just as good!!

    Go Cap'n !!!!

(Note to self : Get permission to throw $50 at Kirk at Sportsbet ... )

The article was definitely incorrect - Kirk a tagger???? That is so 2003!

Has not got a snowballs chance in a sunspot.

Great year, yes. 27 votes from the umps? Come on!

Came equal fourth last year with 20, and this year is easily better.

He may not win, but either he or Hall (whilst stealing votes off each other) will poll top 3 IMO.

In a fair and reasonable world Baz would win for his amazing year

Was last year's email correct about Judd? If so, then I'm off to the TAB

I'm not sure how much better his year was this year than last, but he is more noticeable now to the umpires. I also think that there aren't many players to take votes off him and given we finished 3rd the team should poll a lot of votes. Might be worth a lazy $100 if I can get $18 odds.

Baz and Kirky are both among the leading contenders as far as the bookmakers go. Current odds from Centrebet... Kirk still represents great value - not sure if many of our other midfielders will take votes away from him unlike Kerr and Judd at West Coast for Cousins.

Goodwin also looks good value, and his advantage over Kirk is he kicks goals too.

Cousins' problem is team mates who'll take votes off him (Kerr, Judd, Matera etc).
Baz is about the only one who'll regularly earn votes (whether he gets them is another matter) ahead of Kirky. The Captain has a good show.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

I find it hard to go past Pavlich who every time I saw the Dockers played absolutely carried them. No one there to take away his votes.

I agree, but you are talking about approx 5/6 games (Rnds 11 to 16?). So that means he still has to find about 10-15 more votes from other games, and they had quite a few shockers at the start and end of the season.
