I reckon Pavlich will poll around 23 votes, +-3, so pretty decent chance.

I just dont think Kirk stands our enough to win a brownlow. He works consistently hard every game and does the job...but he doesn't have those flashes of brilliance on the highlight reel that we see from brownlow medalists. Although, if Shane Woewodin can win a brownlow then anybody can.!!!

but kirky got 4th (?) last yr and this season has been a little bit better. he's the type of player that would attract votes for his hard work around the packs, he does plenty of 1%ers and puts his body on the line - also its the best and fairest - he would be one of the most fairest players in the comp. so you just never know with the umpires - plus i doubt he would give lip to them

i got on him a few weeks ago at $18, put 20 on it
because of the leak he is in at $8 now

              he's a massive chance IMO

He's definitely a good chance, but the email is a fake. 27 votes is a huge total and I don't think he'll have gathered enough 3 votes to get that far.

There is one thing to remember about Kirky. We have consistently received fewer kicks than other clubs in our games, yet Kirky is ranked in the top 10 for free kicks received. He has to be noticed by the umpires.

I expect Kirky and Baz to poll about 30 to 35 votes between them. I think they did last year as well (was it 20 Kirk and 14 Hall?)

One more thing, wouldn't it be just grand if Kirky could get a Brownlow, a Norm Smith and a premiership medallion all in the same week? Unlikely, but not impossible.

I hope its a kirk-cousins tie as it would most likely distract cousins more than kirk. And IMO kirky deserves 10 brownlows - deadset champion

                      Brownlow Coverage

I am deadset amazed that we, in Sydney, still don't get the brownlow live. With the tremendous leaps in coverage and tv (fox footy and such) its stupid to think that it starts @ 12pm on Channel 9, and Fox Footy starts televising it @ 11pm.

If channel 9 want to desperately run with their shark show (to repalce WWTBAM which is taking a break because most other states are doing the brownlow), why is it not live on Fox Footy? Surely Channel 9 aren't banking on the 12am-2am ratings??!!?

With the Swans in the GF - I reckon the AFL - like always - has dropped the ball on this one.

Can't believe that I will be listening to the live stream on the net again....

                      Grrr..
