Enough wise men have lined up to tell (Roos) he wouldn't coach, can't coach and shouldn't coach. He has not listened to one of them, such is the man's arrogance.
I thought Smith was being complimentary. Saying that Roos was strong willed and confident in his own of abilities to the point of arrogance, such that he won't listen when he is told he is wrong but will carry on regardless.

I was hoping not to start another 50 - 60 bagging comments and stayed away from this thread (for a while) ...
If you feel that these are traits displayed by Paul Roos, so be it. This is a democracy and you have the right to say so.
Doesn't mean I, or others, have to agree with it. Since this is a democracy, I still feel that the TEAM is first for Paul Roos. THAT does not fit either of the definitions above.
Originally posted by ROK Lobster So because you don't agree with Smith you therefore think he is being sarcastic. Now you are being sarcastic aren't you? You're a wiley Frog.
Hmmmm ... trying to find the post where I indicated that I didn't agree with Patrick Smith .... Nope ... can't find it.
I actually smiled when I read that and congratulated Paul Roos in silence to not only ignore all the "good advice", carry on with whatever path they found themselves on and proved all the "good advice" to be the rubbish it has turned out to be.
3 seasons of finals in a row, from a rookie coach - For mine, may he long ignore those that think they know better - There are too many thinkers, not enough do-ers.

Well SMith said Roos was arrogant and you said he isn't. That was where I thought you disagreed. My bad I guess.
