A thread for all the Saints fans

Go get stuffed. Underestimate the mighty Bloods at your own peril. Your training run has turned into your worst nightmare.

The bad karma from you complaining about GF ticketing arrangements has come home to roost.

Resting Hamill and Kosi for the grand final - great move.

Play Gerhig in defence - a masterstroke.

Nick Reiwodt - absolte joke who couldn't kick straight to save his life.

Never has a win been more satisfying!!!
"As everyone knows our style of football is defensive and unattractive, and as such I have completely forgotten how to mark or kick over the years" - Brett Kirk

what bought them undone was to bring so many underdone players to the game. After the half time, most of those players were spent for the night and had no petrol left in the tank.

Would love if they have played Kosi. If they did, the game could have been over much sooner.

Except for Saints fans , every one else I met at the match, was going for the swans, coz they hate the saints.

PS: Harvey had a great game.

ST KILDA and Adelaide members will forfeit a $10 Grand Final ticket booking fee if their teams are beaten in this weekend's preliminary finals.

                  suck it saints.

swans fans are one of the only teams that can win gracefully.

not once last night did i see a swans supporter rip into a saints one, even though the saints fans did when they got up in the third quarter.

we let the one field performance do the talking

                  well done folks.

Which is what I said before the game:

                    1. In a game with so many even players across the field, targetting one or the other is pointless
                    2. The softest player in their line up was Dal, and Ablett did very well to legally ruffle him. He was important for them in the first quarter, mainly in defence mind you, but faded out of the game is it wore on. My reckoning is that all of the physical contact wore him out.

                      nice juxtaposition....
then again, i think it would be worth trying 15-16 players on field so what would i know

I thought the Filth was Collingwood? I'm sure it was the Scum we beat in the '96 prelim.

That is in mate. At this club we MUST win with grace manors and dignity. I don't want it any other way.

We had this drunken dingbat behind us giving us lip all match. Even spilt beer on the ladies in the Cheer Squad at one stage. Was as quiet as a churchmouse in the last quarter.

But we still didn't give it to him. Because we didn't need to. Our team did the talking on the field where it mattered.

Beating the saints is satisfying, but nearly as satisfying as beating a full strength collingwood or essendon...

Still though it felt good to beat the saints, since their supporters had such a false sense of confidence. No team should ever feel confident against an up and running Sydney. I hope their skipper had a nice big cry in the change room...
