    Negatives from todays match....

Well none other than I am on the other side of the world while all this excitement is happening! I can't believe after 18 years of following the swans it has come to this.

Anyway.... I'm sorry, I just had to express how upset I am! I have been on a wave of emotions today.

Please post anything that will make me feel better!

Paul Bevan is not much of a 22nd man.
Nic Fosdike is not much of a 21st.

LRT dropped marks he should have taken and is having a mini-slump (the only player on the team without a tackle stat!!)

That we stopped playing our corridor game in the 2nd and 3rd quarters when it is so damn obvious we play our best more irrepressible footy when we play up the guts.

I thought it took too long for Davis to go back into the midfield.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

                  ?

I didn't mean negatives about the game, because how can there be negatives from a game that gets you into a Grand Final.... you should be overjoyed!
I just meant some information that won't make me feel so bad about missing one of the most important games I will have seen!

No, we actually need this thread, and one for the positives. Its good karma...

anyway, negative is that Barry would not have blown his top if he'd been given a fair run from the umpires in the lead up to the punch.

not happy with bevan being in the side for a grand final, but I personally think Fossie has been a very under-rated addition to the side in the last few weeks.

Agreed, Fossie has indeed been a contributor, not a main man but an asset, depite being an RWO boo boy........as indeed was Roos'y for a few weeks earlier in the season!

Bevan should go, LRT'S performance is consistant with finals pressure being placed on his developing skills.

Free kicks against is again a neagative with this club, I don't see how we can do too much to rectify that as it is in the hands of the Umps.

If Fossie could hand ball to a chest rather than shins he would increase his value to the side enormously. I think he has been a vlauable contributer since he came back but that contribution would be so much bigger if he could hit targets more often.

                            Hehehe.

LRT spent most of his time running up along the side line warming up!!!

Fosdike was one of our better players, particularly in the 2nd and 3rd quarters when the Saints started to dominate.

He cops a bad wrap on here but has been playing very well since he's returned from injury.
