      They were definitely BOGs.

Another major positive is no major injuries out of the match and those players who were under injury clouds going into the match (Willo, Crouchy and NOG) all got through the match.

How it was obvious to the world what a TEAM we are.

DalSanto was brilliant but we were a unit.

I think Sports Tonight ran footage of Kirk going off the field covered in blood, with the voice over mentioning "blood stained angels". That was a wonderful piece of editing.

Craig Bolton is the most underrated player in the team, perhaps the competition.

Willo looked heaps better last night.

Schneider came alive after doing stuff all early.

Jude B looked the best he has for weeks.

Crouch was superb on Milne, and he gave some drive from the back flanks. What a finals series he is having.

Fantastic to see the goal scoring accurancy on the run! The crumbers got it through the 2 middle sticks on a number of occassions!

That, except for perhaps a couple of short moments, we never looked out of it, we just kept coming at them and our fitness and willpower prevailed as [cliche] a champion team ran over the top of a team of champions[/cliche]!

Snowy, your first para is 1000000% correct - he was 2nd best after O'Keefe IMHO. He just never makes a mistake (except that goal but he kicked it like a back pocket to quote Peter Mckenna) and he is excpetional at the second effort.

Craig Bolton is possibly the most reliable player in the team. Has he ever missed a game????

Yep that was great stuff TS = finally someone on Sports Tonight tied it all together regarding Aussie Rules.

I was thinking about the intrangibles next week:
                        1, The weather
                        2, Adam Schneider

...then I realised that Melbourne weather in Springtime is far more predictable!

                          My Positives:

                          - C-Bolts again doing the job on Reiwoldt. Sensational!!
                          - Hall back in firing form
                          - Winning with the obvious umpiring bias towards the Aints.
                          - Schneiderman is back baby! And what a time to get his confidence in!
                          - 4th quarter legs, superb. Kudos to the training staff.
                          - WE WON!

Darren Jolly is a cool dude. For the amount of game time this bloke has had in his career he is remarkably mature. His last quarters are special.

I wholeheartedly agree with this. Many of us here, myself included, were seriously questioning the price of a 1st round pick for a back-up ruckman. In hindsight, it has been a brilliant decision because of the contribution he has made. In addition, due to the long term injury to Doyle, Goodes would have probably taken quite a lot of the rucking duties if Jolly hadn't been recruited. His presence has allowed us to free up Goodes to play up on the wing which I think is his best position.

Superb recruiting by the Swans and one which has contributed significantly to our progress to the grand final. No 1st year recruit would have been able to contribute as much as what Jolly has. He's still young and I'm very confident he'll step up another notch once Ball retires. Melbourne must be kicking themselves for firstly not giving him enough playing time when they had him, and secondly for trading him.
