    Crouchy

I know the game that really matters is still to come, but Crouchy is my player of the finals so far.

Got us up and running against the Weagles. Only 4 quarter player against the Cats. Held Milne to 1 touch last night.

He's always been a good player, but his performances in the last month have been outstanding.

Spot on. I was very worried about Milne. Top job.

Was that one touch when he tripped himself and the maggots game him the free? It was on their attacking 50 near the boundary line IIRC.

he's the master of the centre break. people think barry and kenelly, but crouch can tag and attack at once.

Crouch has been in my TLM votes each final week. He has risen far beyond the "Serial Pest" moniker.

He is one of the good players who has gone up a notch. Terrific effort in the finals.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Could a Norm Smith be just around the corner for Mr Indestructible?

And just on Milne, what a poor finals player he is. Crouch, Kirk, Kennelly and Davis are probably the best over the 3 matches. Ball has been important too.

Crouch for me at the moment. Kirk's been great too, but then he always is. And while much of the focus has been on Davis' brilliance in front of goal last week, he's lifted enormously over the past 6 weeks and has played very consistent footy.

crouchy's been awesome in the finals series - milne is such a confidence player and he gave him nothing to build on. i'm always confident that he can do a job on the small forwards

if WC win - matera might not play and i dont think he's tall enough to play on sampi so it may free him up through the midfield in a more attacking role

if crows win - do they even have a recognised small forward?

Crouch was superb last night. He has been outstanding all finals series - an absolute legend.

As I've said before, if his disposal was good, he'd be an absolute star.
