    When do we find out....

...if Barry Hall has been cited? I guess everyone is assuming he will be, but I would just like confirmation either way. If he is, the nest few days will be excruciating.

I can barely handle being a Swans supporter anymore. We've had two finals decided by less than a goal and a prelim that we were losing at 3/4 time. Add to that I've been standing in rain and cold all morning to get a queue ticket that's the size of a friggin' stamp and I'm still worrying whether it'll be enough to get me tickets.

    It's all too much

I just wanna know if Barry's going to play or not!!! Patience is not a virtue that I was blessed with.

Match review panel is usually on the Monday.

Given that both matches will be over by tomorrow, it's *possible* that they might do it a day early this week.

No doubt he will be cited and I rekon they will give him 198 activation points.

With an early guilty plea discount of 25% and a further 25% discount for good behavior (he has no carry over points) that will mean 98 points and no suspension.

Thank the lord he has no carry over points, all Barry's good control over the last three years has paid off.

DST, where do you get 198 activation points from? Is there a site that lists this info?

But that's 48 hours away. This sucks.

It was pretty obvious to me that Maguire had a stomach ache and Barry Hall was just rubbing it to make it better. Why all this fuss when he was just being a good, caring friend?

I'm stretching a long bow here, but maybe as an ex-Swans supporter Maguire might let a few important people know what Barry's real intentions were (as stated above )

Going on the cases so far this year, the only ones that have been over 200 points are ones with contact to the head and have been deemed dangerous.

The case which is similar is the Didak one and he only missed 2 weeks becuase he didn't accept the early guilty plea and had a prior stricking charge on his prior list.

All I can say is thank god that the new system is in place so Bazza's record is not taken into account.

Some idiot in the paper today said that his record will hurt him, which is bull@@@@ considering he does not have one this year under the new system.

DST, can you break down the 198 for us?

                    I don't think 198 is possible?

I picked 198 because Ruccito's came in at 298 and that was head high contact which would have contributed the extra 100 points.

I have to say that the herald sun and its vindictive reporters are doing their best to make sure Baz doesnt play next weekend.

                          Trial by media anyone?

                          Pathetic.

Yep. He had 3 weeks reduced to 1 (not sure of exact points) through the combination of an early guilty + a good record. Seems ridiculous to me that Barry could get the same penalty as Ricciuto.
