    Ryan O'Keffe

The team came back on the 10.00am plane, the players were very relaxed and happy to talk to fans while we waited to board.

I had a chat with Ryan O?Keefe. He said that there are no injury worries for next week, but observing the players as they boarded, Noggy appeared to have his left arm in a sling and the Schneiderman had a slight limp. Willo and Bally both looked fine.

Pebbles said that at ? time the guys KNEW that they had the Saints on toast. They reckoned that they were getting on top in the midfield and that many of the Saints players were starting to feel the pinch. As they felt last last week, but much less ground to make up. In particular he said that Maxie Hudgedon and Goose McGuire were both totally stuffed before the end of the third quarter. He seemed really chuufed when I told him that the Melbourne press had him as BOG.

The players had gotten the news about the huge queue ticket line and were really pleased about it. They were also pretty confident that Bazza will get off.

BTW Ryan is a really nice bloke to speak to.

    Cheers ORB.

Thanks ORB. Always better to hear it from the players.

BTW Mathews said similar sort of things in his interview on Fox Saturday Central.

He's had it bandaged every game for some time now. I think its a recovery tactic. Keep it elevated and the pressure off so it gets better more quickly. I think 8 days rest should be more than enough
