I still have my 45 vinyl record ...

Dad and I used to go to matches and mum stayed home so she would play it at full volume when she heard the car pull into the driveway after a South Melbourne victory. Shame I didn't get to hear it very often!

Thanks heaps for those MP3s, we've been all over looking for a decent version of the club song. We are country members and don't have a local record shop! :-)

My wife and I love the banjo break in the middle of the song. It makes us giggle and do air banjo!

It was always played in Sydney at the start and when we won they played Cheer Cheer at the end.

In Melb they played Cheer Cheer at start and end.
