Great result for us I think - I would've been much more concerned about Adelaide.

No disrespect to Eagles but this has become very doable...and very damn exciting!!!

That could be wishful thinking...Kirky had a great season but didn't really stand out like a star midfielder

My eldest daughter barracks for West Coast. She has just got back from her holiday in Queensland with her father and do you know what she has done!!!!!!!!! she has set up a rival shrine in the other front window.

I consider my Paul Kelly signed stuff is worth more than Phillip Read, Cousins stuff.

Anyway I'm not paying for her to go to the Grand Final... She can be miserable at home and lose, lose lose....

            Satchmo, it must be destroyed.

The Grand Final is a Manichean struggle between light and dark, right and wrong, good and evil. There can be no split loyalties. 'With us or against us' - you know the drill.

The West Coast stuff must go!

The sound of the duelling singing Teddy bears is vile......Susie alternates between Slipknot and "We're the Eagles, The West Coast Eagles".

My battery is failing in my bear named Bobby. Tomorrow is battery day. Her Jacovich bear is off key.

Our drought is longer than theirs. All droughts break eventually. It is written.

This will be four times against them in a single season.

                  So far we're 1-2.

                  Time to square the ledger.

Well atleast we've had plenty of practice against them.

I dont see us losing if Barry Hall plays honestly. On a completely nuetral ground i think we will beat the eagles convincingly. Plus we have had more recent practice at the MCG

                    1) We are a better travelling team
                    2) We have had more recent practice at the G
                    3) We have an 8 day break...
                    4) We should have nailed them at Subi but were unlucky
                    5) We are in better form
                    6) They have very few forward options

The way i see it, we will not lose if Hall Plays. If he doesn't, then who knows..

Bec (Tuesday) and I saw them get pumped by the Doggies at the MCG. We'll both be there so hopefully that could be a good omen as we have seen them live twice for 2 losses.

Hall will play - its a certainty - his previous record doesn't count in this case.

The G is almost our home ground over the last 4-5 weeks.

Ours are better, but Hansen, Chick and Gardner are looking ominous, and so is Cox when he goes forward - almost as dangerous as Spider Everett.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

I can beat that one - I have never been to a game where the Swans have lost to the eagles. Seen them play the weagles 3 times for 3 wins. (2003-2005). My mum was also at all 3 wins, and she is coming with me to the GF!

Yet they still kicked nearly as many goals as we did on the weekend.
