    decorate your house!

tommorrow, I'm firing up the kids with a few rolls of butchers paper, and a gallon of red paint, and churing out a few big swans banners to plaster all over the front of my house.

    Go Swans.

I'm taking some of my red and white stuff to decorate my office at work.

    I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

My house has already been done for the past two weeks with a new pice added each day. It has spilled into 3 rooms now.

Plus my traitorous eldest is trying to put her West Coast stuff up. Just who pays the rates??????

My boss - who's not even into AFL but has quickly learned that a cranky me is not a good thing - texted me this morning to let me know she's already bought the balloons and streamers for the office.

I hung a dozen red and white balloons up last week in the office but didn't want to go overboard for a PF. No excuses this week.

This reminds me that the first time I got a tear in my eye in 1996 was when I arrived at Sydney airport for the flight down for the GF and found the place decked out in red and white balloons.

I'm loving reading all this stuff. I was looking forward to getting home and logging onto RWO. I'm gonna decorate my work station and drive my colleagues mad this week. That is, if I dont take rec leave cause I'm gonna be as good as useless at work all week.

Tell her she's adopted and threaten to put her in a foster home in Perth!

If she is working put her board up.

By the way you weren't silly enough to pay for that WCE stuff I hope.

My dad wanted to put a flag out the front of the house somewhere, but my 5ft one broke and I lost my small one last year with rare autographs on it.

I've decorated my bedroom floor, though. My room is a flood of Swans gear - I have Swans scarfs, guernseys, jackets etc lying everywhere on the ground. I have stuff on my walls, though.

I was thinking of mounting my Ryan banner on the roof.

I think we should put red and white balloons and streamers outside everywhere. Even tie red bows on the car side mirrors or on the aerials!

I was thinking of turning my Mum's 4WD red with bumper stickers. Or perhaps wallpapering my wall with Ryan articles?

                        Fully.

My Grandfather is out from England at the moment and in his youth, he was a great baker and cake-maker. When his football team, Nottingham Forest, made the European cup final in 1979 he made a huge cake of Wembley stadium. The cake sat in the front window of his cake shop leading up to the final, and on the big day, it made the trip to London and was presented to the players at the Savoy hotel after the match (which they won!).

My Grandfather and I are making a cake of the MCG together to eat on Grand final day. It's gonna be bloody huge - eight sponge cakes have already been made for the base, and we are still yet to construct the stands! Wish Melbourne was closer - if it was we would take it down with us!

I've got the scarf on the backrest in the car, and it rained last night so my car is partially washed (and back to its nice shiny white complexion instead of dirty brown!). It's kinda hard to decorate my house, but I think the 2005 poster will have to take pride of place near the front door so everyone sees it as they walk in. And I have dug out all my old swans shirts to wear to uni, seeing as most of my good gear will be packed for next weekend in the near future.

I think I shall just have to decorate myself in Swans gear all week just to rub it in everyone's faces at uni! teehee!

OOOOH I'M SO BLOODY EXCITED ALREADY!
