    Our finals campaign has been.....

remarkably similar to the Lions of 2003 (taking the Geelong game out of course, I'm pretty sure the return home final of the Lions was an easy win to them).

Down in a close one away in the first game and overrun the away team in the last q of the prelim.

    Here's hoping..............

Nice to know we got to the Grand Final the hard way - playing every finals game without the one weeks rest should we've won the Qualifying Final.
Vicky Pollard: Oh my god I so can't believe you just said that this is like the time I threw Anita's nokia in the canal as a joke and she's like you have well got to buy me another one and I'm like get over it and then Paul came over who's adopted anyway and started saying that I fancy Mark Bennett but oh my god just because I have sex with someone doesn't mean I fancy them.

        Parallels to Lions and 2003

Has anyone else thought of the similarities between our finals series and the Lions of 2003.

        1) 3rd placed Lions lose to 2nd placed Magpies
        2) 4th placed Swans defeat 1st placed Power
        3) Both Lions and Power win their semi-final
        4) 2nd placed Magpies defeat first placed Power
        5) 3rd placed Lions defeat 4th placed Swans with big final quarter.
        6) 3rd placed Lions defeat 2nd placed Magpies to reverse result of first final!!!!!!!!!
