              I was in the change room after we beat Essendon in 96. Messages of support from as far away as the head of Puma in Germany were taped all over the wall. Players were seen reading them. It did give them a boost, as many were smiling after having read them.

              Say something funny or abstract that will make them laugh. That will help lift the mood in the team.
