I was getting quite a lot of complaints when I sent long URLs via email that the link would go over several lines and break. So, I got the Tiny Url plugin for Firefox...right click on the page and it creates the link and sticks it in your clipboard. It's kind of redundant for RWO as the board software truncates the links nicely...but it's now habit and a lot quicker for me.
