How about a panel comprising Lockett, Archer and Worsfold - all renowned as tough men in their time?Comment

Wouldn't get suspended, but would be made to wear a netball skirt for 2 matches. He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)Comment

Poor old Tommy. Where do they dig these guys up from? Although I would have liked to see Freeman stop in the middle of the last 100 metres and belt the woman coming second.Comment

Liz Ellis, this morning: "I've hit girls in Netball harder than that"
Whoever keeps bringing up netball as a non-contact sport is kidding themselves, or honestly hasn't been to a netball match before. There's a lot of push & shove, bumping, elbowing and downright cattiness at all levels. Great fun to watch from the safety of the sidelines
But to drag it kicking and screaming back on topic... Perhaps not a netball skirt, but Maguire could find himself in possession of a tutu shortly...
177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....
