      Yeah, sure...
Captain Logic is not steering this tugboat.

A friend will be over there, and wants to watch the game. Told him I'd ask around for him.

Heres a link for plans for last years grand final:

Try contacting some of those links in there and the embassy, they might know for this years.
That's the problem with modern day medicine - there's no more natural selection of the species.
No wonder there's so many Collingwood fans.

              GF in the UK

For those with friends and rellies inthe UK, looks like its on (live) at 6am on Sky Sports 3... I can see my brother in law sneaking the kids down to the pub/bookie at that time in the morning.

              ...

This is what the BskyB web-site says about the game:

"Coverage of the AFL Grand Final at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. Kick-off is at 6.30am. Last year's victors, Port Adelaide, who trounced Brisbane Lions 113-73, are in the hunt again this year, qualifying for the last eight of the competition. Hot on their heels are the in-form teams, St Kilda Saints, Geelong Cats and West Coast Eagles"

              ho ho ho

Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way you'll be a mile away and he'll be shoeless.

I was in DC a couple of years ago and had a really hard time trying to find a place to watch the game. All the pubs that subscribed to the cable channel that showed the game, either showed something else or closed too early in the night.
In the end (and too late for me) I was told the embassy was the best bet. Apparently, at the time, they always threw a party and welcomed Aussies. Im not sure if that's still the case but worth a try giving them a call to find out.
