    Williams eyes history

    Williams eyes history
Williams, 32, made his debut for Collingwood way back in 1991 and will play his 294th AFL game in Saturday's grand final, after joining the Swans in 2001.

Former Brisbane defender Marcus Ashcroft currently holds the record for most number of games played before being part of a premiership team, when he played his 268th game during the Lions' 2001 grand final victory.
However a badly corked thigh almost ended Williams' premiership dreams during this finals series before he again turned to the woman who has helped him throughout his career.

Williams has so much faith in Manser, who is a "manipulation therapist" that he flew himself down to Melbourne from Sydney twice in the lead-up to last week's preliminary final against St Kilda so Manser could set about curing his injured thigh.

"I've been seeing her for 14 years and I have seen her on and off for a few problems over my career," Williams said of Manser.
I hope he hasn't told his wife.

"I honestly feel 100 percent now and I feel as though it?s normal again so I am really looking forward to a full week of training, which I haven't done for a while."

As long as it's a happy ending, everything is okay.
He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.

Like most Swannies I hope he finally breaks that damn record - plus seriously the guy if he goes on next year he'll be the most capped Tasmanian (barring any injuries - touch wood)
