Could Doyle play if Barry misses?

I noticed Stephen Doyle running with the group when I watched Ten news in Melb.

Does anyone think he would be a chance to play if Barry missed? If it was a dry day it would make it interesting.

Obviously not in form but would only be asked to stand in the goalsquare.

Injury, fitness, yadda yadda aside- Can he play after we have elevated Vogels from the rookie list to the Seniors (if Vogels is not playing that week)? I don't think he can.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Yep, good point - maybe he was just trying to gain fitness but I thought it was a left field idea - very left field.

To me Malceski has to come in for Bevan anyway.

Vogels was injured in Swans reserve grade grand final which they won! Malceski was BOG in the GF too!

Slightly off the topic (but only slightly):

Could someone pls give me the good oil on what the hell the Vogels injury situation is?

Depending on the report I read, he ruptured his Achilles tendon, or just did a minor ankle injury, or did something to his hip. Therefore, he's either completely out of contention, a 'maybe', or more likely than not to pull up okay.

Which isn't terribly informative. Can anyone improve on that?

He was at training tonight - didnt see him do anything but he was kitted up with his ankle strapped. Don't think it's career threatening but he won't play this week either.

we do have two guys who are 193cm and played over 100 games, are they both injury free?

Doyle would at least require a big fella on him, but certainly wouldn't provide any run !

                        Saddo and Schaubs?

I think Schaubs is the fitter by the sound of the ACTAFL grannie.

Doyle in for Barry Hall would be a rather large mistake. It wouldn't be long till he did ANOTHER season ankle injury!
Vicky Pollard: Oh my god I so can't believe you just said that this is like the time I threw Anita's nokia in the canal as a joke and she's like you have well got to buy me another one and I'm like get over it and then Paul came over who's adopted anyway and started saying that I fancy Mark Bennett but oh my god just because I have sex with someone doesn't mean I fancy them.
