Listening to SEN in Melbourne, they are giving live updates every 10 mins or so.

Here's whats happened so far..

Swans are not challenging the negligent aspect of the charge, only the "in play" classification.

Barry just gave his evidence before the Tribunal. Went for about 15 mins apparently. The main focus of his evidence was that he was making position at the time he struck Maguire.

Tribunal is currently looking at video footage being supplid by Swans team.

I reckon the "in play" clause will be the most important.

I think it will be relatively easy to prove this under the rules as they stand - especially after seeing the Rioli incident the AFL used to demonstrate at the start of the year.

IMHO we have no hope with the negligent tack - too hard to prove.
