    Vogels - What the........??

How is it that we allowed Vogels & Malcevski to play ressies on the weekend?

Seriously?? We knew we'd be playing the Grannie when we had the game wrapped up on Friday night and it was going to be a Bevo or Mal or Voges on the interchange and we played Mal and Voges at risk in the ressies.

As a Swan person, I am embarrassed for the club.

I don't give a stuff about their satisfaction in winning a ressies Grannie in a sub-standard comp over GOOD fitness for the AFL Flag.

Craig Bolton did an apprenticeship as an Emergency for the Lions for 2 years and has earnt his stripes as one of the most respected players in the AFL, so how is it that we need to play vitally important Emergency/Interchange players in the magoos?

    Disappointing! Thoughts?

i think you're being a little harsh, but you do have a point.

still. we've got away with it so you have we have to give the coaching stuff some credit for their decision-making.
then again, i think it would be worth trying 15-16 players on field so what would i know

Totally agree. Can't understand why they played in the 2's.

WLF reported 4 did not train and Sydney basically has no players available if we needed to change the side from last week

So I guess Bevan gets to play in a GF.

Or will Vogels/ Malceski get a look in.

Personally West Coast have a few taller running types and I thought Vogels might have been handy

Plus you should not flirt with your form
You don't ban those who supported your opponent, you make them wallow in their loserdom by covering your victory! You sit them in the front row. You give them a hat! Toby Ziegler

They are potentially going into a GF. They need the best, hard match fitness as much as anyone else. Malceski is BOG and is at the top of his game.

Exactly. ACTAFL Grand final is as good a preperation as we had. Unfortunate for Vogels, but he was no certainty to get back in.
On the plus, Malceski is pushing for selection.
