Am a little surprised in the sense that it was hard to see where the Eagles had room to move with his charge. The high contact was non-disputable, and seemingly the "behind the play" too.
That said, am happy that he can play too. I don't think what he did was ever going to cause injury and would hate to have seen him miss out for that. -
Good for him. I hate to see anyone miss a Grand Final.I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his timeComment

If Gaspar plays it would be great for us. He doesn't seem to have a suitable matchup as defender, perhaps for the 2nd ruckman, and I don't think he'll be effective as a forward.Comment

This one looked far worse than BBBB's and I thought there was no way he would get off. Having said that I'm glad he got off: it would have been too easy to level accusations of pro-Swans bias at the tribunal and there would have been no shortage of conspiracy theories. Gaspar may yet be dropped, he's not a marquee player, but the AFL establishment didn't have to make that decision.Run2Live,Live2RunComment

Amazing decision, unlike Hall's they had nowhere to move and had to go for Not Guilty which they got, pleading.......................... wait for it......................Originally posted by ScottH
So now they have set a precedent of "Elbow to the face" Free Hit!!
self defence
Simply amazing.
So it seems it's OK to wack someone in the face if they are shaping up to bump into you.Comment
