Good luck to Dylan Addison(St George) & Keiran Jack(Penno) who will play for the Allies today in Melbourne. They were the only two from the Rams to be selected.

          Swans - Draft him.

Really do hope Keiran Jack ends up with us - his story is amazing.

Sydney born - father a rugby league legend, The Sydney media will be all over this story.

Do any of your draft experts know our chances of him still be available at our first pick?

Given he wasnt one of the 80 odd invited to the camp you can almost guarantee he will be available when the Swans get a pick.

By the same token given that clubs choose who they want to see at the camp, you can almost guarantee that he wont get picked up.

                swans draft picks

From what i have seen in the SFL and NSW 18s state games i feel that Dylan addison is probably the premier young footballer in Sydney and the fact that he was the only Sydney player invited to the draft camp I think re-affirms my thoughts. I believe Adelaide are looking at him closely.

If he does not get picked up by another AFL club he should be Sydneys priority ahead of other "fairytale story"picks.....
I am sure that players such as Jack and Goodrem would rather be picked up as footballers and not as a media generating stories because of who they are related to, or what there background is.

Anyway as a swans and SFL fan i would love to see them all picked up by the swans if they are talented enough to play in the AFL.

What is the score with Craig Bird not playing? Is he too young?
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

I am not so sure that he is 'THE' premier young footballer in Sydney. Jack was state captain and named best player for NSW/ACT at the nationals. I think that both these young players are extremely talented and IF given the chance both have the potential to play AFL. However to single one of them out as the standout based on what you have said seems somewhat uninformed, or at least under informed (perhaps you saw more saints than penno games this year). But you are entitled to your opinion.

I think its great that we can all talk football in such a forum that allows us to air our OPINIONS on many topics. I have seen many games of both these playerson tapes and many games in my home state of VIC, espically at the nationals and my OPINION is that Dylan is a slightly better player. Everyone is entitled to their own OPINIONS and to say that my OPINION is' uninformed' is somewhat ignorent considering you have no idea how many games i have or have not seen of each individual.
