    Tigers hunting youngsters

I have heard some rumours that the tigers are hunting some u18's from various clubs and could have perhaps signed some which if true the club will not expect it happening and miss that player alot as he is said to have big future. It is a bird !

Who would that player be? Have they done well this year with recruitment?

        Juniors

The Tigers are hoping some of the players from the Riverview U18 side will be coming across with their coach playing at the Tigers. From the grand final result it looked like there were some pretty good players there as well.

At this stage I am not sure. I think they are pretty happy with the coaching/leadership structure they put in place last season - given the second half of the season results those at Tigerland are pretty encouraged for more season 2006 improvement.

Saying this I am sure, like every club they will be busily recruiting and seeing what new players are around. In all there are in excess of 15 U18 high quality players coming into the senior squad so the main focus is on establishing the correct coaching staff to ensure their continued development and improvemnt.
