    Sydney Afl Trial Info

Might as well get the ball rolling, who when and where are your clubs playing??No need to keep this under your hat,we will all find out sooner or later.Very interesting to see certain clubs putting their name down for the Gaelic footy comp coming up. Cant wait to get that round ball out!!!So who are they?

The Eagles boys are using the competition as ther first hit out for the season. We see it as a chance to get the guys a competitive run and also to have a little bit of fun on the day. It will be interesting to see what sought of a side the coaches pick as I know that they had a few young soccer players at training that are playing their first year of footy. This type of comp might be ideal for them.

What's this about a Gaelic comp?

BMR its not actually a Gaelic comp it an International Rules round robbin. The Venue stll to be confirmed is Princes Park in Auburn. My mate Pete who works for me and plays with me at South West is organising it.

The teams comprises of 6 sides from the local Gaelic competition and 6 from the local AFL. There is still one opening for an AFL side as Campelltown have pulled out.

The Irish presidents are all concerned about violence in the wake of the recent IR series

It's good to see the clubs from both codes giving it a shot.
                Should be good.

                          Katie-scarlett,
If you've got mates at East Coast Eagles you should check out their website. It's got a good write up about their view on the upcoming International Rules series.

As long as you arent a fan of that inferior fullback from Kardinia, thats okay.Dont be bound to just one team-follow NorWest Jets,we'll be having a go at the Int.Rules tournament on Mar 5th....Got the round balls out last night for a larf,we didnt do too bad.We had Hawkesbury soccer training next to us,they called us pussies last wek, funnily enough they shy away from the contact, didnt take us up on the offer of a game.
