    New Rules

Has anyone heard whether the changes to the Laws of AFL will immediately filter into the NSW based leagues???? I guess they would considering last years centre bounce circle came in immediately.

On the topic, what do people think of the changes?? Kevin Sheedy was reported as saying he thought thay may not have the desired effect they were intended for.

One important aspect would be to have a spare footy available at each end at all times. It may sound stupid but the Sydney AFL struggles at times to get a correctly inflated ball to each game particularly the lower grade games. Supporters may be slow to return the footy to the opposition fullback. A new winning tactic maybe!

    New Rules

I am sure the kick in rule will not apply to Sydney Football for 2006. As for the other rules introduced I am not to sure, you would have to contact the league.

Mod Edit: Sorry guys, just merged the two thread as I think House's post was meant to be a reply rather than a new topic. Cheers guys.

The rules of the game PDF file in the Administration and Downloads section of the Sydney AFL website has the new kick-in rule (13.3) - but I'm not sure whether that means they'll be using that rule or not.
