That is a massive boost for the young tigers, no doubt it would have cost them a bit of $$$, but it will be good for there young players to have someone of Leoncelli's calibre at the club. It will make them a stronger team without a doubt, but im not sure it will be enough of a difference to keep them from taking the spoon from C'Town.

      Will he even play though?

From memory his ankle was useless to say the least.

I noticed that transfer too. Signing former AFL players, non-swans especially, can only improve the credibility of local Sydney footy. I'd say well done Balmain, I hope they don't get burnt as other clubs I think have in the past.

BTW Pekay, not sure if you heard we had a walkover in the ressies v Holroyd, so Tara could only claim a moral victory as he was in the scooby-doos on Saturday.
Seriously, it was good to finally get a win up, I think it's about 18 months between drinks, more to come this year though!
I hear not what you say, for the thunder of who you are.

Yeah saw that, shame they didnt have enough to have 2 full teams...I assume you gents had a full book in 2s??If so,good work, numbers sound like they're on the improve. We cant wait for Round 1(Whenever that is-against whoever)been training the house down since November, and have lifted a few notches since our last trial. Will lift the bar this year.

I think Holroyd had quite a few who have indicated they'll play but weren't there on the weekend. If things don't improve for them a bit you could probably get some trials before the Holroyd games until they get your draw sorted. On that note, you haven't had any updates??

Pekay can tell you we had 23 blokes so thats looking good with still some blokes to come back to 1's that are away with work/honeymoon/injures etc so yes numbers are looking better than they where a few weeks ago. Iam now hoping to get a few more wins under my belt as Coach until my shoulders better.
