    RIP Rick Scicluna

I've just heard some sad news from the AFL Sydney community, with the passing of Rick Scicluna; on this forum as Steamboat.
Rick suffered a massive heart attack on Friday and was taken to Liverpool Hospital. He was put on life support, but passed away in the early hours of this morning.
He joined South-West Sydney in 1997 and played 120 games for them, later becoming an assistant coach, then Senior Coach in 2005 & 2006. He had a couple of years as Reserves Coach at Campbelltown before becoming Assistant Coach at Wests/Inner West Magpies; a position he maintained as assistant to many Senior Coaches. I saw him just a few weeks ago, still as Assistant at the Magpies.
He was a Life Member at both South-West Sydney and Wests/Inner West, a loyal servant of his club and the game; and a top bloke. I always got on well with him; and he was a mate to so many in the Sydney footy community.
Condolences to his family and his many friends in the Sydney footy community; particularly everyone at the Magpies.
