Supporters should note that contrary to the original draw planned at the start of the season, this week's Round 6 First and Reserve Grade matches between UNSW/ES and East Coast will be played at Alan Davidson Oval this Saturday May 20th at 2.00pm and Midday respectively.

Not as scheduled at Henson Park on Sunday May 21st.

Wander down and have a look before venturing to the SCG in the evening ....

That is what I'll be doing. Norris Lurker has likely offered to pick me up and help me lug all the flags & crap I'll be in possession in his car to the SCG. So I'll be going with him & Jude_Adams_Babe to Alan Davidson.

Then again, to watch local footy you don't really need to twist my arm too much.

I'll be there armed with my new yellow synthetic Sherrins footy. If anyone is up for a pre-match or half-time kick, just come up and introduce yourself.

Yeah I just checked before and saw! We'll be there.

I'd bring Disco-Sherrin, but I don't want to embarrass myself.

Someone teach me how to kick?

UNSW-ES Bulldogs also play there in the arvos of 17 June and 22 July.

It isn't the greatest venue for senior footy. The ground itself is very very small, significantly shorter and thinner than the SCG I would think.

Secondly I think Newtown Juniors get first dibs on the ground as well meaning a fair wack of Saturday's and Sundays it's tied up already.

I always go past there and it's very-very empty.

There was a heap of cricket, but now it's gone.

I never noticed that it was small.. but come to think of it... it's also a bit dry cos it doesn't have irrigation.

But I don't care! I want more footy closer to my house!
