Re: First coach to be sacked this year

From what Ive seen in the SFL this year following the mighty penno, Penno are doing fine, Wests are ok considering their mass exodus and Wollongong dont have the fire power so not coaches fault. Balmain have restructured and despite no points- are not far off the mark and very easliy could have had 2 wins.
St George are very switched on, and ECE seem to have 50 on their coachng staff.
Norths are poorly guided and less said about Uni/Easts this year the better. I have never seen a team kick to so many outnumbered contest. If only they had 6 more Pecks their gameplan would be perfect

Just my humble but accurate opinion.

Also worth noting, all assistants are gone too.

There might be a vacancy with one of the Sydney Gaelic teams if they are looking for work

really, assistants as well? who were there assistants?

what is there new coaching staff like?

spose they need some stability for there upcoming name change for next season, if a afl club is coming on board they would need to be doing better than they currently are.

                    Hey Ash,

You seem to be a bit of an expert on UNSWES, just curious to find out which games you have actually watched of them this year??? Or do you just read the newspaper results and go off who the time-keeper thought were the best players????

No denying it has been a really poor start for UNSWES, aside from my normal gag of backing Kefalas in, i think you are a little off the mark with your above comment.

                      Ive watched four games.

Your team does not put in and you can see from sideline morale is low. You have too many socalled senior players abusing your young guys who I do understand are only in due to injury. Better to help than abuse.

HOwever, that said, injuries are caused by lack of a preseason and guys not putting in at training.

Your style of play is completely wrong for your stable of players as you should not be getting flogged each week.

You did look decent and had ECE measure during the 2nd quarter at Henson. If you stayed to that plan you would have been much closer.

Ooh gotta hit that one up! That statement is about as off the mark as any I've ever seen on here! Across the board I've seen blokes who hardly train a day in their lives, play hard and never cop an injury, as well as blokes who bust their guts on the track and spend most of their time out injured, and I'm guessing most blokes who have played would say similar!

It was actually Alan Davidson Oval Ash. But I can see how you made your mistake. Eastcoast is at Henen almost every other week.

But grounds aside 125 point loss is a 125 point loss!!!

They must be doing something wrong down there. Maybe the plan of bombing long every chance just isn't working?????

I agree, but I wouldn't have limited it to one sentence from that post.
Ash, you're really hitting out, and sounding silly.

Don't know if you've played/seen much footy, but to comment on whether blokes are "putting in" without knowing those particular players abilities/circumstances/instructions is definitely out of order.

I have no connection with Uni, but I even took offence for those guys!
I hear not what you say, for the thunder of who you are.
